CNNC Seeking Info Regarding Rentals in the Central Northside

Good Rainy Sunday afternoon to you all,

Pat Clark is one of the Urban Design consultants from Pfaffmann and Associates that is working on the Central Northside Community Plan. Pat is conducting a market analysis on the housing market in the Central Northside.

It is much easier to get accurate up to date info regarding home ownership than rentals. He is trying to get data several ways but we may be able to help him out.
If you are a renter or if you rent property could you please email Pat info regarding where generally you live and generally how much the rent is, and what it includes. Be as specific or general as you feel comfortable with. Pat will keep this information confidential.

If you have general thoughts on the rental market in the Central Northside you can provide him with that too. His email is Pat@jacksonclark.net .

We want your photos of the Central Northside!

From the Central Northside Community Planning Team:

As our team has been organizing content for the working group meetings I’ve realized that one thing that would really help us in our planning efforts is additional pictures of the Central Northside neighborhood that highlight issues we’ve been discussing. We’ve taken a bunch of photos, but we could still use a few more, since you all have different perspectives on the neighborhood.

Please forward this message to others in the community that might be interested in participating.

I am looking for a few, select photos from each of you, preferably with a line or two of caption/explanation for each. These pictures might show things that are good about the neighborhood, but they might also highlight issues, problems or concerns. Ideally, these would relate to the topics we are discussing in our Working Groups.
I’m not looking for a ton of pictures, but just the ones you think say something. To remind you, our Working Groups include the following:
Architecture and Urban Design
Economy and Market / Jobs and Retail
Education and Youth / Arts and Culture
Public Safety and Transportation
Residential
Garden Block

I know there’s a lot of creativity and talent in the neighborhood, and I am hoping to make good use of it.

For example, you might include:
Hidden Gems within the neighborhood
Pictures of people, events, and social gatherings would be great.
A photo showing a lot or block that could use some attention
Dangerous traffic condition/intersections
Others—be creative!

Anyway, send them to me, with the word Central Northside Photos in the subject heading.

Thanks,
Carl
